Last month I decided to book a last minute trip to Barcelona in search of some inspiration. I stayed in the centre of Barcelona in Equity Point Hostel, in a 12 bed room where I made friends with an american girl and a Mexican couple. They had already been there a few days before my arrival, so I was given a basic tour. However the point of the trip was to through myself in the deep end and do some exploring alone.

During my stay there I tried to hit as many tourist sights as I could. My favourite place I discovered was a recycled market hiden away in a court yard.

A close second was 'St. Josep La Boqueria'. This was another market which sold fresh food, smoothies, handmade sweets and ice cream. Although everything there was cheap, I could have spent every penny I had in there.

The architechure in Barcelona has to be some of the beautifulest I have seen, even beats the Town hall in Middlesbrough (tough competition).
The highlight of the hoilday had to be a toss up between the price of the vodka and my pretty woman moment in the Miu Miu store, 100% browsing and zero buying. I dont think my mosher attire was appericated by the sales assistants either, 'you win some...'
